Shooting Range at Central Polytechnic Campus at Vattiyoorkavu is under the ownership of Technical Directorate, Government of Kerala. The National Games Secretariat is constructing the Stadium at a cost of Rs.17.1 Crores.
Rifle and Pistol Shooting events of the 35th National Games are scheduled at this Stadium from 1st - 7th February, 2015.
During the Games the Shooting Range will be known as Dr. KARNI SINGH PLAZA in honor of Dr Karni Singh, an ace marksman.
